According to the Brahma Purana, Saraswati emerged from Brahma's mouth with a veena. She is the goddess of speech, learning, and music. Students and artists worship her for wisdom and creativity.
Saraswati Puja — पूजा विधी
- Place books, instruments, and tools at the altar; do not study or use them until the next day.
- Offer yellow flowers, fruits, and prasad to the goddess.
- Students and teachers perform puja together; wear yellow or white.
- The next day (or after puja), take the books and tools back with her blessing.
